I haven’t written here in a while, and this was long ago, but… I went to my first concert, and it was amazing.
We drove 3 hours out to Clifton Park, NY, to a small venue called Northern Lights. On a whim I decided “Whatever, Fun. will be a good first concert, and I kind of like them, tickets are cheap,” you know.
BEST DECISION I EVER MADE.
The energy of that crowd, and the band’s energy and happiness on stage was just phenomenal. I loved it. Not only that, but Fun. is even better live than in studio. Their songs had so much more emotion, and meaning, and you could feel it all.
I fell in love with songs that I’d only kindof liked before.
I heard him sing The Gambler for the first time… and let me tell you, the studio version doesn’t do it justice whatsoever.
God. That was so much fun. I didn’t think I would even like the concert, let alone understand how someone could go to so many over and over. But now I so do.
